A fine, loose leaf black tea flavoured with orange and festive spices to warm you throughout the winter.
Our Festive Blend Orange Spiced Tea is quality black tea flavoured with oranges and spices, including cinnamon, ginger and cloves. This warming blend has similarities to Earl Grey and Chai tea.
Black tea contains polyphenols, a type of antioxidant. Caffeine and an amino acid called L-theanine are also found in black tea, which is said can improve alertness and focus – even more than coffee!
When you’ve been out and about spreading festive cheer and you come in from the cold, keep the Christmas spirit with you and sit down with a cup of Orange Spiced Tea.
Using traditional methods of blending and tasting, this tea has been carefully crafted by the Miles team, using Miles experTeas!
Based on the edge of Exmoor and on Somerset’s coastline, we take inspiration from our beautiful surroundings to create a cuppa that embodies a little escape, evoking memories of a holiday in the West Country, with each sip. Our attention to detail and experience ensures a consistent, flavourful tea that will see you constantly topping up your mug.
Black tea (70%), Cinnamon, Ginger, Citrus Peel, Black Pepper, Natural Flavour, Rose Petals, Cardamom Seeds, Cloves
Black tea is best made with water brought to a full boil and used immediately for the tea to release its full flavour (if you're using a teapot remember to warm the pot first). Use one teaspoon of loose-leaf tea per person.
Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes. If you like your tea strong add more tea, don't steep for longer as this will turn the flavours bitter.
Drink with lemon, with milk or on its own.
Our Festive Blend is available in a pack of 125g Loose leaf tea.
Perfect to enjoy by itself, but even better with a fruity slice of Christmas Stollen or a gingerbread biscuit.
Make sure you store your tea in an airtight container – a tin is better than plastic, or seal up the packaging it arrives in. Although tea feels dry, it contains 3 % moisture and oils that are essential to its flavour. If not properly stored these can evaporate. Keep your tea in a fairly cool, dry place, which is out of sunlight and try to keep away from any spices that could taint the flavour.
Brew up a festive cup of mulled tea, perfect for enjoying throughout the holiday season…
