Naturally caffeine free, Redbush or ‘Rooibos’ originates from South Africa and has been enjoyed worldwide for over 300 years. This pack contains 100g of loose leaf Redbush tea.
Our Redbush Tea has a rich, earthy and almost nutty flavour. It is naturally sweet and most commonly drunk with a slice of lemon, but we find a dash of milk and a drizzle of honey is equally delicious.
The recommended daily amount of caffeine is around 400mg a day*, this blend allows you to sip away without concern of your caffeine intake as it is naturally caffeine free.

Redbush is ever growing in popularity, due to its high level of antioxidants and being naturally caffeine free. It is believed that this tea can aid sleep, so it’s a nice blend to consume in the evening.

Based on the edge of Exmoor and on Somerset’s coastline, we take inspiration from our beautiful surroundings to create a cuppa that embodies a little escape, evoking memories of a holiday in the West Country, with each sip. Our attention to detail and experience ensures a consistent, flavourful tea that will see you constantly topping up your mug.
100% Redbsuh tea from South Africa
Redbush tea is best made with water brought to a full boil and used immediately for the tea to release its full flavour (if you're using a teapot remember to warm the pot first). Use one teabag per person or one teaspoon of loose-leaf tea per person.
Allow to brew for 2-4 minutes. If you like your tea strong add more tea, don't steep for longer as this will turn the flavours bitter.
Drink with lemon, on its own or with a dash of milk and honey.
Our Redbush Tea is available in a pack of 40 traditional teabags, 25 envelope teabags or either 100g or 1kg of loose leaf tea.
With its earthy taste, Redbush is delicious with spiced and citrus biscuits. We like to enjoy this tea with an orange-spiced madeleine – yum!
Make sure you store your tea in an airtight container – a tin is better than plastic, or seal up the packaging it arrives in. Although tea feels dry, it contains 3 % moisture and oils that are essential to its flavour. If not properly stored these can evaporate. Keep your tea in a fairly cool, dry place, which is out of sunlight and try to keep away from any spices that could taint the flavour.
